SUMMARY

I make art to examine natural systems, as well as human activities that disrupt natural systems. I combine science and art as ways of knowing. In addition to traditional object-based practices (i.e., making prints or paintings), my work also emphasizes process, especially interactions with the natural world.

WORK IN PROGRESS

I collected plastic debris on Midway Atoll (pictured above). Now I am creating drawings and paintings based on what I found. For details, see my debris project page.
